Sizing rule: add your room’s length and width in metres, multiply by 30 — that gives a guide diameter in centimetres. For hanging height, the bottom of the chandelier should clear at least 210cm in walkable areas, or sit 75cm above the dining table surface. At a standard 2.4m ceiling, that means a total drop — plate, body, and chain — of under 30cm in a walkable space.
