How does the socket switch work — do I still need a wall switch?

The switch is built into the E27 socket holder and lets you turn the bulb on and off directly. You can leave your wall switch permanently on and use the socket switch for daily control — or use both independently. It does not replace the need for a wall switch in the circuit, but it adds a convenient secondary control point.
Will the white finish show marks or discolour over time?

The white metal finish is durable and easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth. With normal indoor use it should not discolour. Avoid abrasive cleaners which can scratch the surface. Fingerprints are less visible on a matte white finish than on gloss or dark finishes.
What bulb should I use, and is one included?

No bulb is included. The socket is E27 with a maximum of 40W. We recommend a warm white filament LED (2700K, 4–6W) for the best balance of ambience and efficiency. A filament bulb also complements the brushed brass socket visually.
Is this wall light suitable for a bathroom?

No. This fixture is rated IP20, which means it has no protection against moisture. It is for dry indoor rooms only — not suitable for bathrooms, above kitchen sinks, or any outdoor location.
Is this wall light dimmable?

The fixture has no built-in dimmer. To dim the light, you need a dimmable-rated E27 bulb and a compatible dimmer wall switch. Check both before purchasing dimmable bulbs.
