LED Vanity Light — Large, 91 cm, 2400 lm, CRI 90, IP44 — Brushed Nickel, Chrome, Matte Black or Satin Brass
A double-basin bathroom needs a vanity light that covers the full mirror width. A 46cm or 61cm bar illuminates one position well — the person standing in the centre. A 91cm bar covers both sides evenly, with 2,400 lumens distributed across the full width at CRI 90. No hot spot in the centre, no shadow at the edges. Select your finish using the colour option above. Integrated LED — no bulb to buy.

Choosing your finish
Brushed Nickel is the practical choice for a high-use shared bathroom. The directional texture resists fingerprints and water marks, and the warm-neutral tone coordinates with both chrome and brass hardware without clashing. No maintenance beyond a weekly wipe.
Chrome is the finish that amplifies light. At 91cm, the reflective surface runs the full width of the mirror zone — light from the diffuser bounces off the chrome body, into the mirror, and back into the room. In a large bathroom with pale tiles, the compounding effect increases perceived brightness beyond what the lumen count alone suggests.
Matte Black at 91cm is a horizontal architectural element, not just a light fitting. The non-reflective surface reads as a clean dark line above the mirror when the light is off. When it is on, the white diffuser comes forward and the black body recedes. Works best against pale tiles or white walls where the contrast is maximum.
Satin Brass is the finish for a bathroom where the design has been considered. Lacquered, so it will not oxidise or shift tone over time. The warm gold coordinates with brushed brass taps, oak vanity units, and warm stone tiles. At this width, it anchors the palette of the entire room.
Before ordering, confirm the wall width between any obstructions is at least 95cm. The back box should be centred on the mirror. Mounts horizontally above the mirror or vertically to either side — all hardware included. Browse the full wall lights collection or read our wall lights guide.
Common questions
What mirror width does the 91cm fitting suit?
+
The 91cm bar works best above mirrors from 80cm to 120cm wide — the standard range for double-basin vanity units and wide single-basin bathrooms. If your mirror is narrower than 75cm, the medium (61cm) size will give better visual proportion. If your mirror is wider than 120cm, consider two medium bars mounted symmetrically above each basin rather than a single oversized bar.
Does a single back box support the full 91cm fitting?
+
Yes — this fitting mounts from a single central back box. The backplate distributes the weight across the wall surface. A standard single gang back box is sufficient. Your electrician will confirm the fixing method based on wall type — solid walls, dot-and-dab plasterboard, and timber stud walls all require slightly different fixings, but all are compatible with this fitting.
Does this need a special dimmer switch?
+
Yes — the integrated LED module requires a trailing edge (LED-compatible) dimmer switch. A standard leading edge dimmer will not work correctly and may cause flickering or buzzing. If your existing switch is not LED-compatible, a qualified electrician can replace it as part of the installation. Without a dimmer, the light operates at full output only.
Is IP44 sufficient for a bathroom installation?
+
Yes — IP44 is the minimum rating required for bathroom zone 2, which covers the area outside 60cm from the edge of a bath or shower. This fitting is suitable for installation above or beside a mirror in a standard bathroom layout. It is not rated for zone 1 (directly above or inside a shower enclosure), where IP65 or higher is required. Confirm the zone with your electrician before installation.
Which colour temperature is best for a shared bathroom?
+
For a shared bathroom used at different times of day, 3000K or 3500K is the most versatile setting — warm enough for a relaxed morning atmosphere, neutral enough for accurate grooming. The five selectable temperatures can be switched at the fitting, so each user can adjust to their preference without any tools or rewiring.
