At 29×10 cm, this is a wide, low-profile fitting — the horizontal format suits hallways, covered porches, carport ceilings, and garage interiors where a taller unit would feel out of proportion. The acrylic diffuser spreads the 18W LED output evenly across the wall surface, avoiding harsh hotspots. The integrated LED is fixed and non-replaceable, brightness is not adjustable, and the colour temperature is set at 3000K warm white. This fitting is rated IP20 and must not be installed in locations exposed to rain, moisture, or condensation. It is not suitable for open outdoor walls. Installation is hardwired; a qualified electrician is required.
The motion sensor covers an unusually wide range of 3 to 15 metres, making it effective for long covered driveways, large garage interiors, or extended hallways where standard 5-metre sensors fall short. Can this be installed on an exposed outdoor wall?

No. This fitting is rated IP20, which provides no protection against moisture or water ingress. It must be installed in a covered or fully sheltered location — such as a deep porch, carport, garage, or interior hallway. For exposed outdoor walls, choose an IP65-rated fitting instead.
Can the LED module be replaced when it fails?

No — the LED is integrated and fixed. It cannot be replaced. The fitting is designed to last the full lifespan of the LED module, after which the entire unit would need replacing.
What is the motion sensor detection range?

The sensor detects movement within a range of 3 to 15 metres — wider than most standard units. The sensitivity and range are fixed and cannot be adjusted manually.
Is 18W sufficient for a garage or large hallway?

18W integrated LED is well suited to a single-car garage, covered porch, or medium-length hallway. For larger spaces, installing two units at intervals will give more consistent coverage than a single higher-wattage fitting.
Does this need a qualified electrician to install?
