Industrial Black Wall Light — Finish, Flexibility & Placement
The thermolacquered black finish gives this fixture a matte, wear-resistant surface that holds up well in high-traffic areas like hallways and kitchens. The 180° adjustable arm lets you swing the light from straight up to straight down, making it genuinely useful as a reading light, task light, or directional accent — not just a decorative piece. The integrated socket switch is a practical bonus: you can turn the light on and off without needing a wall switch, which is useful in rooms where the wiring doesn’t include a dedicated switch. For the best result with the glass diffuser, use a warm filament LED (2700K, 4–6W) — it softens the glow and keeps heat output low. This fixture is rated IP20 and hardwired, so it’s for dry indoor rooms only; not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use.
This wall light works well as a bedside reading light, a workspace accent, or a corridor fixture where directional control matters. Its 12 cm mounting base suits standard wall backboxes, and the adjustable arm means you can fine-tune the angle after installation without tools. Common questions
How does the integrated socket switch work?
+
There is a small rotary or toggle switch built into the E27 socket holder. It lets you turn the bulb on and off independently of your wall switch — useful if the light is wired to a circuit without a dedicated switch, or if you want to leave the wall switch permanently on and control the light directly.
Can the arm be adjusted after installation?
+
Yes. The arm rotates manually through 180° and can be repositioned at any time without tools. It holds its position by friction. It is designed for occasional repositioning rather than constant daily adjustment.
What bulb types are compatible?
+
The E27 socket accepts LED, compact fluorescent, halogen, and incandescent bulbs up to 40W. We recommend a warm white LED (2700K, 4–6W) for efficiency and ambience. Avoid incandescent bulbs above 40W as they may overheat the fitting.
Is this wall light suitable for a bathroom or outdoor use?
+
No. This fixture is rated IP20, which means it has no protection against moisture. It is for dry indoor rooms only — not suitable for bathrooms, above kitchen sinks, or any outdoor location.
Is this wall light dimmable?
+
The fixture has no built-in dimmer. To dim the light, you need a dimmable-rated E27 bulb and a compatible dimmer wall switch. Check both before purchasing dimmable bulbs.
