Unlike filament bulbs, the G80 in this range does not have a visible filament — it produces a uniform, diffused light across the globe surface, making it comfortable at eye level without glare. At 2W, it is a pure accent bulb — ideal for a bedside lamp or a decorative fitting used mainly for atmosphere. At 6W–8W, it becomes a practical everyday bulb for table lamps and wall lights in bedrooms and living rooms. What is the difference between the G80 and the G95 or G125 globe bulbs?

The number refers to the diameter in millimetres: G80 is 80mm, G95 is 95mm, G125 is 125mm. The G80 is the most compact and suits standard table lamps and wall lights. The larger G95 and G125 are more statement pieces, better suited to oversized pendants and decorative clusters. Check your fitting’s maximum bulb diameter before ordering.
Which wattage is right for a bedside table lamp?

For a bedside lamp used for reading, 4W–6W at 2700K is a comfortable level — warm, soft, and easy on the eyes in a dark room. If you only use the lamp for ambience (not reading), 2W is sufficient. For a desk lamp or task light, choose 8W or higher from our range.
Will this G80 fit inside a standard lampshade?

The G80 is 80mm wide — slightly wider than a standard A60 bulb (60mm). Most drum, empire, and cone shades will accommodate it, but narrow or tight-fitting shades may not. Measure the internal opening of your shade before ordering if you’re unsure.
Does this bulb work with a smart home dimmer or switch?
