T10 Tubular Vintage Filament Bulb E27 40W — 2700K Extra Warm White, 220V, 50,000h
T10 tubular LED filament bulb with a straight filament, E27 screw cap, 40W, and an extra warm amber glow at 2700K. The T10 cylindrical tube shape is the most linear and architectural form in the vintage filament range — a long, narrow glass cylinder with a visible filament running through its length, creating a clean, industrial light source that reads very differently from globe or pear-shaped alternatives. Integrated LED — no bulb to buy separately.

T10 Tubular — Linear geometry, industrial character & T10 vs ST64 vs G95
The T10 tube is the most architecturally restrained shape in the vintage filament range. Where the ST64 has a romantic, organic pear silhouette and the G95 commands attention with its large spherical presence, the T10 is defined by its linearity — a clean, narrow cylinder that reads as industrial and precise rather than decorative and warm. The straight filament running through the length of the tube reinforces this character: a single, uninterrupted line of light that is visible from the side as a glowing rod and from the end as a point. This makes the T10 particularly effective in fittings where the bulb is oriented horizontally — a wall sconce with a horizontal socket, a bathroom vanity bar, or an industrial-style bracket fitting where the tube shape is part of the design language. Vertically, the T10 creates a tall, slender presence in a pendant drop or floor lamp — more elongated and less rounded than any globe alternative. At 40W and 2700K, the light is extra warm — the amber glow softens the industrial character of the tube shape and prevents it from reading as cold or clinical. At 250–499 lm, the output is atmospheric rather than functional — the T10 is chosen for its visual character as much as for the light it produces.
Direct E27 screw-in replacement — no tools required. Rated at 50,000 hours. IP20 — dry indoor use only. Check dimmability before ordering if your fitting has a dimmer switch. Common questions
What is the difference between the T10 tube and the ST64 Edison shape?
+
The ST64 is an elongated pear shape — organic, rounded at the top, tapering to the cap. The T10 is a straight cylinder — uniform diameter from top to bottom, with no taper. The ST64 reads as romantic and vintage; the T10 reads as industrial and architectural. Both use E27 caps and produce similar output at 40W / 2700K. Choose ST64 for a warmer, more traditional Edison aesthetic; choose T10 for a cleaner, more linear industrial look.
Can the T10 be used horizontally in a wall sconce or vanity bar?
+
Yes — the T10 tube is one of the few vintage filament shapes that works well in a horizontal orientation. In a wall sconce with a horizontal socket, the tube extends outward from the wall and the filament is visible along its full length from the front. In a vanity bar with multiple horizontal sockets, a row of T10 tubes creates a clean, linear light source. Ensure the fitting’s socket is rated for horizontal use and that the bulb does not contact any part of the shade or housing.
Will the T10 tube fit inside a standard pendant shade?
+
The T10 is longer than a standard A60 bulb — check the internal depth of your shade before ordering. In a deep drum shade, the T10 may fit but the tube tip will be close to the shade opening. In a shallow or tight-fitting shade, the T10 will protrude. The T10 is best suited to open fittings where the full tube length is visible — a bare pendant drop, an open cage, or a bracket fitting without a shade.
Does the tube shape cast light differently from a globe or pear-shaped bulb?
+
Yes — the T10 tube casts light primarily from its sides rather than omnidirectionally. The narrow cylinder concentrates the filament along a single axis, so the light is strongest perpendicular to the tube and weaker from the ends. In a vertical pendant, this means the light spreads outward in a band rather than equally in all directions. In a horizontal wall sconce, the light spreads upward and downward from the tube. This directional character is part of the T10’s appeal in architectural and industrial settings.
Is the T10 suitable for a bathroom mirror light or vanity fitting?
+
The T10 is IP20 rated — suitable for dry indoor use only. Whether it can be used in a bathroom depends on the IP rating of the fitting. For a bathroom vanity mirror light, the fitting must carry at least IP44 for Zone 2 use. If your vanity fitting is IP44 or higher and accepts E27 bulbs, the T10 can be installed inside it. At 2700K, the warm amber light is flattering for a bathroom mirror — though for task-critical grooming, a cooler, higher-lumen source may be more practical.
