Two sockets, one drop, one wiring point

The double pendant delivers twice the light output of the single version from a single ceiling rose — no additional wiring point required. Both sockets are positioned on the same rigid copper pipe and wired through the same canopy. The two bulbs sit at different heights on the pipe, creating a layered light effect rather than a flat, uniform spread. This makes the double pendant particularly effective over a kitchen island or dining table where task lighting and ambient light are both needed from the same point.

The shorter lengths (6–12 in) suit standard ceiling heights. The longer lengths (24–60 in) are designed for high-ceilinged rooms, stairwells, and double-height spaces. A 40W Vintage filament bulb at 2200K suits the copper pipe best, but Globe and Tube options are available above. Bulbs are not included by default. Common questions

How is this different from the single socket pendant?

+

This fitting has two ceramic sockets on the same copper pipe, wired through a single canopy and a single ceiling rose. You get double the light output from one wiring point. The two bulbs sit at different heights on the pipe, which creates a layered effect rather than a flat spread. If you need more light over a table or island without adding a second wiring point, this is the more practical choice.

Which pipe length should I choose for a kitchen island?

+

Measure from your ceiling to 70–80 cm above the worktop, then subtract the canopy depth (~3 cm). The lower socket will sit at the bottom of the pipe, so the effective drop is the full pipe length. For a standard 2.4 m ceiling with a worktop at 90 cm, a 12 in (30 cm) pipe typically positions the lower bulb at the right height. For higher ceilings, go longer. If in doubt, go longer — the pipe cannot be extended after manufacture.

Do both sockets need the same bulb?

+

The bulb options above include two matching bulbs. You can use different bulbs in each socket if you prefer — for example, a Vintage filament in the upper socket and a Globe in the lower — but matching bulbs give a more consistent light spread and a cleaner visual. Max 60 W per socket.

Does this need a dedicated circuit or can it share an existing one?

+

At max 60 W per socket (120 W total), this fitting can share a standard lighting circuit. Your electrician will confirm the load on the existing circuit before connecting. If you are installing multiple double pendants in the same room, the total load should be calculated across all fittings.

How long does delivery take and is production time included?

+

This fitting is made to order — please allow additional production time before dispatch. Standard delivery is 5–7 working days from dispatch. Free delivery applies automatically on orders over €50. If you are ordering multiple pendants for the same room, order at the same time to ensure consistent production and dispatch.
