Yes — this is a hardwired ceiling pendant that connects to a mains ceiling rose or junction box. A qualified electrician is required for installation. If you are replacing an existing pendant on an existing ceiling rose, the swap is straightforward for a competent DIYer, but a registered electrician is recommended for new ceiling connections. Should I choose the single pendant or the set of 3?

For a small dining table (up to 100cm), a kitchen island end, a bedside position, or a hallway, a single pendant is sufficient. For a longer dining table (120cm or more), a full kitchen island, or a living room position where a single pendant would feel undersized, the set of 3 gives the visual weight and coverage needed. The set of 3 hangs from a single ceiling base, so it requires only one ceiling connection point.
Can I adjust the cable length?

The cable is approximately 90cm. For standard ceiling heights (2.4–2.6m), this gives a pendant height of approximately 150–170cm from the floor, or 70–80cm above a standard dining table — the correct range for table pendant lighting. For higher ceilings, the cable can be looped or gathered at the ceiling base to reduce the drop. Cutting the cable is not recommended as it will void the fitting.
