What is the difference between an A60 filament and an A60 frosted LED?

The A60 filament has a clear glass envelope — the LED filament is fully visible and creates a warm point of light with a decorative quality. The frosted A60 has an opal coating that diffuses the light evenly across the bulb surface, eliminating glare and the visible chip. Choose filament if the bulb will be visible and you want the decorative effect; choose frosted if the bulb is at eye level or inside a shade where glare would be uncomfortable.
Will this A60 fit inside an enclosed ceiling fitting or globe shade?

Yes — the A60 is the most compact filament shape in the range and fits inside most enclosed fittings and globe shades. Check the internal dimensions of your fitting against the bulb length (typically 110–120mm for an A60) and diameter (60mm). In an enclosed fitting, the filament effect is partially obscured, but the warm glow still comes through the glass.
