Yes. This is a hardwired pendant — it connects directly to your ceiling electrical box and has no plug. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician who can also adjust the suspension height to suit your ceiling during fitting.
Why is the maximum wattage only 20 W?

The fitting and shade are rated for a maximum of 20 W to prevent overheating. With a modern filament LED bulb at 2700 K, 20 W is more than sufficient for ambient or accent lighting. If you need stronger output, consider using two or three pendants grouped together rather than exceeding the wattage limit.
Can I use a dimmable bulb with this pendant?
