How do I change the lighting mode?

The mode selector button is on the solar panel unit. Press it to cycle through the 8 available modes: steady, twinkle, flash, and additional effects. Set the mode before mounting the panel if access will be difficult once installed. On models with a memory function, the last selected mode is retained when the lights switch off and back on.
