The Kegel takes its name from its clean conical silhouette — the metal base tapers upward into a glass shade that diffuses light softly downward and outward. The Gold Base variant has a warm metallic base that pairs naturally with brass, wood, and warm-toned interiors; the White Background version is more neutral and integrates easily into Scandinavian or minimalist schemes. Both use an E27 socket — we recommend a warm filament LED at 2700K to complement the glass shade and create the most atmospheric glow. The cable switch makes it easy to operate without reaching for a wall socket. At H48 cm with a Ø20 cm shade, it is a mid-sized table lamp — well-proportioned for a bedside table, sideboard, or desk. The 90–260V range covers IE/EU/UK and US/Canada circuits. This is a plug-in lamp: no electrician required. Dry indoor use only — not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor areas. No. The Kegel is a plug-in table lamp — simply plug it into a standard wall socket and it is ready to use. The cable switch lets you turn it on and off without reaching for the socket.
What bulb should I use?

Bulb is not included. We recommend a warm white filament LED at 2700K in E27. The glass shade diffuses light gently, and a filament bulb enhances the warm, atmospheric quality of the light. Avoid very high-wattage bulbs as the glass shade may retain heat.
What is the difference between Gold Base and White Background?

The Gold Base has a warm metallic finish on the base that suits brass, wood, and warm-toned interiors. The White Background version has a neutral white finish that integrates more easily into Scandinavian, minimalist, or all-white rooms. The shape, size, and price are identical.
Is this lamp dimmable?

Dimmability depends on the bulb you choose. The lamp itself is compatible with dimmable E27 bulbs, but you will also need your wall socket to be on a dimmer circuit. If you use a standard non-dimmer socket, choose a dimmable bulb and a smart bulb with its own app control for the most flexibility.
Will this fit on a standard bedside table?

Yes. At H48 cm with a Ø20 cm shade, the Kegel is well-proportioned for most bedside tables. It is tall enough to cast light at a useful reading angle without being oversized. If your bedside table is very narrow (under 30 cm deep), the shade may overhang slightly — check your table dimensions before ordering.
