The glass shade is 17cm in diameter — compact enough to use as a single pendant over a small table or bedside, and proportioned well for multiples over a longer surface. The shade is shallow at 10cm height, which means the fitting sits close to the ceiling rose and reads as a considered object rather than a hanging element. The brass ceiling rose is 12cm in diameter and sits flush against the ceiling. An LED bulb is included in the box — the fitting is ready to install without a separate bulb purchase.
The 200cm cord suits most standard ceiling heights. If your ceiling is higher or you want a longer drop, contact us before ordering and we can arrange a custom cord length at no additional cost. No — an LED bulb is included in the box. The fitting is ready to install without a separate purchase. If you want to use a dimmable bulb, replace the included bulb with a dimmable LED E27 and pair it with a compatible trailing edge dimmer switch. The included bulb may not be compatible with all dimmer switches.
Do I need an electrician to install this pendant?

Yes — this pendant must be hardwired to the mains by a qualified electrician. If a ceiling rose is already in place, installation is typically under an hour. If you need a longer cord than 200cm, contact us before ordering and we can arrange a custom length at no additional cost.
Is the glass shade truly handmade, and will mine look exactly like the photo?

The glass shade is handblown, which means each piece carries small natural variations in thickness, texture, and the way it catches the light. Your shade will be very close to the photo but not identical — this is a characteristic of handmade glass, not a defect. If you are ordering multiple pendants for the same space, they will be similar but not perfectly matched, which is part of the appeal of handcrafted pieces.
Will the brass tarnish over time?

Yes — unlacquered brass oxidises slowly, shifting from bright gold toward a deeper, warmer tone. This is expected and not a defect. To maintain the original brightness, apply a specialist brass cleaner once or twice a year and buff dry. To let the patina develop naturally, dust weekly with a dry microfibre cloth and leave it.
Can I order a custom cord length?

Yes — the standard cord is 200cm, which suits most ceiling heights up to around 3m. If you need a longer drop for a high ceiling, stairwell, or double-height space, contact us before placing your order and we will arrange a custom cord length at no additional cost.
