Copper cone shade — directed light, warm finish, made to order
Unlike the bare bulb fittings in this range, the cone shade directs light downward and partially shields the bulb from direct view — giving a softer, more focused pool of light beneath the fitting. The copper shade is the same raw material as the rest of the range and will develop a natural patina over time. At Ø20cm × H15cm, it has enough presence to work as a standalone ceiling light in a small room or above a dining table, without being oversized. The ceramic socket (Black or White) sits inside the cone and is largely hidden from below. Use a filament LED at 2700K in E27 for warm, ambient light that complements the copper. Hardwired only; IP20 rated for dry indoor spaces. Not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use. Made to order — allow for lead time.
Works well above a kitchen island, a reading nook, or a bedside position where you want directed rather than ambient light. Does the cone shade direct light downward or spread it around the room?

The cone shape directs most of the light downward in a focused pool, with some light escaping upward through the open top. It is not a diffused ambient light — it works best where you want a defined circle of light below the fitting, such as above a table or work surface.
Which bulb works best inside the cone shade?

A filament-style LED in E27 format at 2700K gives the warmest result. A tube or small globe shape fits well inside the Ø20cm cone. Max wattage is 60W. Bulbs can be added as an option at checkout.
Will the copper shade tarnish over time?

Yes — raw copper naturally develops a patina as it oxidises. Many customers prefer this aged look. To slow the process, apply a thin coat of clear wax or copper polish occasionally. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Does this need a qualified electrician to install?
