Ribbed Glass Ceiling Light — Art Deco, Integrated 10 W LED, 3 Colour Temps, Ø 20 cm, Black Fitting
Ribbed glass does two things at once: it diffuses the LED source so there is no visible hot spot, and it catches the light across each ridge, producing a texture that reads differently depending on the angle. The black fitting grounds the shade without competing with it. Three colour temperatures are selectable by cycling the switch — no app, no remote, no additional hardware required. Integrated LED — no bulb to buy.

Three temperatures, one fitting
The colour temperature cycles each time the switch is turned off and on again: 3000K warm white first, then 4000K neutral, then 6000K cool white, then back to 3000K. No remote, no app, no separate controller — the existing wall switch does the work. 3000K suits a bedroom or living room where warmth is the priority. 4000K suits a kitchen or home office where clarity matters. 6000K is the brightest and most clinical — useful in a utility room or bathroom where accurate light is needed.
At Ø 20 cm and 15 cm height, this is a compact flush fitting — suited to rooms where ceiling height is limited or where a pendant would feel too heavy. The black fitting coordinates with black hardware, dark window frames, and matte black switches and sockets. Common questions
How do I change the colour temperature?
+
Turn the light off and on again using the wall switch. Each cycle moves to the next temperature: 3000K → 4000K → 6000K → 3000K. The fitting remembers the last selected temperature, so if you leave it on 3000K it will return to 3000K the next time you switch it on. No remote or app is required.
Do I need an electrician to install this ceiling light?
+
Yes — this fitting must be hardwired to the mains by a qualified electrician. If a ceiling rose is already in place, installation is typically under an hour.
Which colour temperature should I use in which room?
+
3000K (warm white) suits bedrooms, living rooms, and dining areas where a relaxed atmosphere is the priority. 4000K (neutral) suits kitchens, home offices, and bathrooms where clarity and accuracy matter. 6000K (cool white) is the brightest and most clinical — useful in utility rooms, garages, or anywhere task accuracy is more important than atmosphere. The fitting lets you use all three in the same room depending on the time of day or activity.
Can this fitting be dimmed?
+
No — the integrated LED module is not dimmable. Output is fixed at 10W. Connecting it to a dimmer switch will interfere with the colour temperature cycling function and may cause flickering. Use a standard on/off switch only.
Is the LED replaceable when it reaches end of life?
+
No — the LED module is integrated and fixed, not replaceable. LED modules in fittings of this type typically last 25,000–50,000 hours under normal use, which equates to many years of daily operation. When the LED reaches end of life, the fitting itself would need to be replaced.
