The accordion arm adjusts the total drop from 60 to 130cm — useful when ceiling heights vary or when you want to position the shade precisely over a surface. The adjustment is manual and done at installation; it is not a pull-cord mechanism. The shade is not tiltable, so the light direction is fixed downward. The wide Ø28cm bowl shade produces a broad, downward-focused beam — well suited to kitchen islands, dining tables, or workspaces where direct task lighting is the priority. For ambient or diffused light, this fitting is less appropriate. We recommend a filament-style LED E27 at 2700K for a warm, industrial-coherent look; avoid cool white bulbs above 3000K as they conflict with the aesthetic.
This pendant works well grouped in pairs or threes over a long dining table or kitchen island — space them 60–80cm apart for even coverage. It is a hardwired fitting: a qualified electrician must connect it to the ceiling circuit. There is no switch on the fitting itself, so a wall switch or smart dimmer is required for control. How does the height adjustment work — is it a pull-cord or manual?

The accordion arm is adjusted manually at installation — you set the drop between 60 and 130cm and it stays fixed. It is not a pull-cord mechanism and cannot be adjusted after installation without reopening the ceiling rose.
Can I tilt or rotate the shade to direct the light?

No — the shade is fixed and points straight down. The light direction cannot be adjusted. If you need a directional or tiltable pendant, this fitting is not the right choice.
Is this pendant dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulb you choose. Use a dimmable E27 LED bulb and pair it with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. The fitting itself has no built-in dimmer.
