The half-dome shape directs light downward and slightly outward, making it well suited to dining tables, kitchen islands, and bedside positions where focused downward light is the goal. The textured aluminium exterior catches ambient light during the day and gives the shade a tactile, craft-like quality that reads well in Scandinavian, japandi, and contemporary interiors. The four sizes scale from the compact S (25 cm) — suited to a bedside or small table — up to the XL (40 cm), which works above a dining table for four or a kitchen island. The E27 socket accepts a standard bulb; a filament LED at 2700K will produce warm, flattering downlight that complements the dome’s interior. The fitting is not dimmable; colour temperature is determined by the bulb you choose. Not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use (IP20).
For dining tables, hang the base 70–80 cm above the surface. For bedside use, position the base at roughly shoulder height when seated — around 120–140 cm from the floor. The White version reflects more light back into the room; the Black version absorbs more and creates a more focused, dramatic pool of light below.
