The Spine pendant is built around a single design idea: multiple transparent glass reflectors arranged along a central spine, each housing a brass-effect E27 socket. When lit, the glass reflectors create an illusion of depth — light bounces between the surfaces, the brass catches the warmth of the bulb, and the overall effect is more complex than a single-shade pendant of the same size. The black powder-coated frame provides the structural contrast that keeps the design from reading as purely decorative: it is industrial in proportion and material, contemporary in execution. At Ø50cm, this fitting is scaled for large living rooms, open-plan dining areas, and double-height spaces where a smaller pendant would be lost. What bulb should I use with this pendant?

The fitting takes an E27 bulb up to 70W. For the best visual result, use a filament-style LED bulb (Edison or globe format) at 2700K — the transparent glass reflectors make the filament visible, which enhances the industrial-vintage aesthetic. A standard diffused LED will work but the decorative effect of the glass reflectors is reduced. Avoid bulbs above 70W. If you want to dim the light, choose a dimmable LED bulb and connect the fitting to a trailing edge dimmer switch.
Does this pendant need to be installed by an electrician?
