The smoked glass on this pendant does two things: it softens the light output, removing any harshness from the bulb, and it gives the shade a visual depth that a clear or frosted glass cannot match — the tint shifts subtly depending on the viewing angle and the light level. The four shapes offer genuinely different visual characters: A (Ø 9 cm) is the most compact and discreet, suited to bedside or accent use; B (Ø 15 cm) is a balanced globe that works in most settings; C (Ø 24 cm) is the widest and flattest, projecting light broadly downward and making a strong horizontal statement above a table; D (Ø 19 cm) is a classic dome that sits between B and C in both size and light spread. The colour temperature is fixed at the point of purchase and cannot be changed after installation — choose 3000K for a warm, amber-toned atmosphere, 4000K for a cleaner neutral output, or natural white for a balanced daylight-like tone. The fixture is not dimmable. IP20 means dry indoor rooms only: no bathrooms, no outdoor use. Hardwired installation requires a ceiling rose; an electrician is recommended.
Shape C (Ø 24 cm) works particularly well above a dining table or kitchen island where wide, even downward light is needed. Which shape should I choose for above a dining table?

Shape C (Ø 24 cm, flat disc) gives the widest downward light spread and makes the strongest visual statement above a table. Shape D (Ø 19 cm, dome) is a good alternative if you prefer a more classic silhouette. For a 4-seater table, a single C or D works well; for a longer table, grouping two units at the same height gives better coverage.
Does the smoked glass significantly reduce the light output?

The smoked glass does filter some light, producing a softer, more diffused output than a clear shade. The reduction is moderate — enough to remove glare and create a warmer atmosphere, but not so much that the pendant becomes purely decorative. For rooms that need strong general lighting, use a higher-lumen bulb to compensate.
Can I change the colour temperature after purchase?

No — the colour temperature is set by the bulb supplied and is fixed. Choose at checkout: 3000K for warm amber light, 4000K for a clean neutral tone, or natural white for a balanced daylight-like output. You can replace the bulb later with any E27 LED at your preferred Kelvin rating.
Is this pendant dimmable?

Can I mix different shapes in a grouped arrangement?
