The two silhouettes serve different purposes. The globe (S, M, L) diffuses light in all directions through the smoked glass, producing a soft, ambient glow that suits dining tables, living rooms, and bedrooms where even, flattering light is the goal. The cylinder (XL, XXL) is taller and narrower, concentrating light more downward and creating a more architectural, elongated presence — it suits bedside positions, reading nooks, hallways, and spaces where a vertical accent is wanted. Both silhouettes are available in Black and White: Black creates a stronger contrast and suits industrial, contemporary, and dark-toned interiors; White blends with lighter ceilings and suits Scandinavian, minimalist, and airy spaces. The smoked glass filters and warms the light before it leaves the shade — a filament LED at 2700K will produce the warmest, most atmospheric result.
