Rechargeable version: charges via Micro-USB from any USB-A port or adapter — convenient for indoor positions where you can remove and recharge easily. Battery operated version: suited to locations where recharging is inconvenient, such as high outdoor positions or remote garden areas. IP44 splash-proof — suitable for covered outdoor positions: porches, patios, garden walls, and entrance areas. Not suitable for direct rain exposure (IP65+ required for that). The 120° detection angle and 10m range cover a wide area — suited to driveways, garden paths, and hallways where you want reliable activation without false triggers. Warm white (3000K) creates a welcoming, amber-toned output suited to entrance areas and living spaces; white is brighter and more functional, suited to utility areas, garages, and security-focused positions.

It is not suitable for positions with direct rain exposure — for that you need IP65 or above. Avoid mounting it where water can pool on top of the unit.
What is the difference between rechargeable and battery operated?

The rechargeable version has an integrated battery that charges via Micro-USB — remove the unit, plug it in, recharge, and remount. Best for indoor or easily accessible outdoor positions. The battery operated version runs on standard replaceable batteries — no recharging needed, better for high or remote positions where removing the unit to recharge would be inconvenient. Both versions have the same light output and sensor performance.
