Iron Pendant with Shade — E27, IP44, Black or Gold, versatile placement
The conical iron shade directs light downward and outward, making it well-suited for focused task lighting over a dining table, kitchen island, or desk. The shade is solid iron — it does not diffuse light through the material, so the light output is directional rather than ambient. The Black finish suits modern, industrial, and Japandi interiors; the Gold finish adds warmth and works well in more decorative or eclectic schemes. The E27 socket accepts most standard bulbs — we recommend a warm filament LED at 2700K for the most flattering result under the iron shade. The IP44 rating means it is splash-proof and suitable for use above kitchen sinks, in bathrooms (outside Zone 1), or in covered outdoor areas. This is a hardwired pendant: a qualified electrician is required for installation. The 90–260V range covers IE/EU/UK and US/Canada circuits. The 120 cm cable is adjustable, giving flexibility across different ceiling heights.
A single shade works well centred over a dining table at 70–80 cm above the surface, or grouped in twos or threes at staggered heights over a kitchen island for a more dynamic effect. Do I need an electrician to install this pendant?

Yes. This is a hardwired ceiling pendant that connects directly to your ceiling wiring. A qualified electrician is required for safe installation. Mounting hardware is included.
Can I use this in a kitchen or bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating means it is splash-proof and suitable for use above kitchen sinks, in bathrooms outside Zone 1 (i.e. not directly above the bath or shower), and in covered outdoor areas. It is not suitable for direct water exposure.
What bulb should I use?

Bulb is not included. We recommend a warm white filament LED at 2700K in E27. The solid iron shade directs light downward, so a filament bulb gives the warmest, most flattering result. Avoid very high-wattage bulbs as the enclosed shade retains some heat.
Is this light dimmable?

Dimmability depends on the bulb you choose and whether your wall switch is connected to a compatible dimmer. The fitting itself is compatible with dimmable E27 bulbs, but you will need both a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer switch installed by your electrician.
How many should I hang over a kitchen island?

For a standard kitchen island of 120–150 cm, two pendants spaced evenly work well. For longer islands of 180 cm or more, three pendants give better coverage. Space them roughly 60 cm apart and hang at 70–80 cm above the worktop surface for the best task lighting result.
