LED Outdoor Wall Light — Aluminium build, two orientations, two wattages
The orientation choice (Horizontal vs Vertical) changes the visual character significantly: Horizontal gives a wide, low-profile look that suits modern flat-fronted houses and garage walls; Vertical gives a taller, more traditional lantern-like proportion that suits entrance pillars, rendered walls, and period-style exteriors. Both share the same 26×12.5×12.5 cm body — only the mounting direction differs. The 12W version is suited to accent lighting, pathway marking, or smaller wall sections; the 18W provides more output for entrances, driveways, or larger façade areas where security and visibility matter. Warm White (3000K) creates a welcoming, amber-toned glow for entrances and garden seating areas; Cool White (6000K) is crisp and bright, better for driveways, garages, or security-focused applications. The LED is integrated and non-replaceable. The aluminium body is weatherproof and built for outdoor use. This is a hardwired fixture: a qualified electrician should handle installation.
Works well flanking a front door (pair two for symmetry), along a garden wall, on a garage, or at a gate pillar. For pathways, space units every 3–4 metres for even coverage. The wide voltage range (85–265V AC) covers all standard European circuits. Browse our full outdoor lights collection or read our guide on outdoor garden lighting.
Common questions
Should I choose Horizontal or Vertical?
+
Horizontal suits modern, flat-fronted houses, garage walls, and contemporary exteriors where a wide, low-profile look is preferred. Vertical suits entrance pillars, rendered walls, and more traditional exteriors where a taller proportion looks more natural. Both versions are identical in size — only the mounting orientation differs.
Should I choose 12W or 18W?
+
12W is sufficient for accent lighting, pathway marking, or smaller wall sections where atmosphere is the priority. 18W provides more output for entrances, driveways, or larger façade areas where visibility and security matter. If in doubt, choose 18W — it gives more flexibility.
Should I choose Warm White (3000K) or Cool White (6000K)?
+
Warm White (3000K) gives a welcoming, amber-toned glow — ideal for front doors, garden seating areas, and anywhere you want a cosy, inviting feel. Cool White (6000K) is bright and crisp — better for driveways, garages, and security-focused applications where maximum visibility matters.
Does this need an electrician to install?
+
Yes. This is a hardwired outdoor wall fixture — no plug, direct connection to mains wiring. Outdoor electrical work should always be carried out by a qualified electrician to ensure safety, weatherproofing of connections, and compliance with local wiring regulations.
Can I replace the LED if it stops working?
+
No. The LED is integrated and non-replaceable. It is designed for a long lifespan (typically 25,000–50,000 hours). If the LED fails within the warranty period, contact us for support.
