This pendant takes the classic lantern silhouette — a glass enclosure within a black metal frame — and scales it to a compact Ø 22 cm × H 22 cm that works in rooms where a larger fitting would feel too heavy. The glass panels allow the bulb to be fully visible, which means the choice of bulb matters: a filament LED at 2700K (4–6W) will give the warmest, most characterful result, with the amber glow of the filament visible through the glass. A plain frosted or cool-white bulb will look flat by comparison. The E27 socket accepts any standard bulb, but the open glass design means the bulb is always on show. The fixture is not dimmable unless paired with a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible wall dimmer. IP20 means dry indoor rooms only — no bathrooms, no outdoor use. Hardwired installation requires a ceiling rose; an electrician is recommended.

A filament LED at 2700K (4–6W) gives the best result — the visible filament glows amber through the glass and reinforces the vintage industrial character of the shade. Avoid frosted, globe, or cool-white bulbs as they will look flat and out of place in this fitting. Any standard E27 bulb is compatible.
Is this pendant suitable for use above a dining table?

Yes, but given its compact size (Ø 22 cm), a single unit works best above a small table or as an accent light. For a standard 4-seater dining table, grouping two or three pendants at the same height gives better coverage and a more intentional look. Hang them 70–80 cm above the table surface.
