The bar format is what makes this pendant distinctive — rather than a single central shade, the light distributes across the full length of the frame, covering the table evenly without creating a bright centre and dark ends. The 80cm version suits tables up to 140cm long; the 120cm version is proportionate for tables from 140cm to 200cm. Both versions hang at a fixed horizontal position — the arms are not orientable, so the light direction is downward only. For a dining table, hang the bottom of the frame 70–80cm above the surface. At a standard 240cm ceiling height, that places the fitting at 160–170cm from the floor. The grey finish is neutral enough to sit alongside most interior palettes — it reads as industrial in a raw loft space, and as understated in a more finished contemporary kitchen. This is a hardwired fitting — a qualified electrician is required for installation. There is no on/off switch on the fitting; control is via your wall switch. Match the bar length to roughly two-thirds of your table length for visual balance. For a 120cm table, the 80cm bar is proportionate. For a 160–200cm table, the 120cm bar works better. If you are hanging above a kitchen island rather than a dining table, the 80cm version suits most standard island widths (90–120cm). When in doubt, go longer — a bar that is slightly too long reads as intentional; one that is too short looks undersized.
How many bulbs does this pendant take, and what type?

The fitting uses E14 sockets (small Edison screw). The number of sockets depends on the length — check the product images for the exact count per variant. Use small E14 LED bulbs, maximum 50W equivalent per socket. For the best visual result, choose small globe or candle-shaped filament LEDs at 2700K — they complement the industrial frame and create a warm, even glow across the bar.
Can the hanging height be adjusted after installation?

Yes — the drop is adjustable up to 80cm and is set at the ceiling rose during installation. Your electrician can coil the excess cable inside the rose to achieve the desired height. Decide on the final drop before the rose is closed, as adjusting afterwards requires reopening the ceiling fitting. The bar itself is fixed horizontally and cannot be tilted or rotated.
Is this pendant dimmable?

The fitting is compatible with dimmable bulbs, but dimming requires two things: E14 bulbs labelled “dimmable” and a trailing-edge dimmer wall switch. If you use standard non-dimmable bulbs or a conventional switch, the light will work at full brightness only.
