“Brut” (French for raw/rough) describes the finish philosophy of this version — the steel is left entirely unfinished and untreated, with no lacquer, paint, or patina treatment applied. This is the most honest, unmediated expression of the industrial cinema aesthetic in the Moon range: what you see is the material in its natural state. Over time, the raw steel will develop its own patina organically — a slow darkening and surface oxidation that deepens the character of the piece. This is expected and desirable; if you prefer to slow the process, apply a thin coat of clear wax or metal sealant. For the best visual result, use a warm Edison-style filament LED (E27, 2700K, 4–6W) — the warm glow complements the raw steel and natural wood tones. The E27 socket is not compatible with E14 bulbs.
