Industrial 4-Light Pendant — symmetrical design, matt black steel, E27 versatility
This pendant is hardwired and requires a qualified electrician for installation — the cable length is fixed at 120cm and cannot be adjusted after purchase. The four E27 sockets accept most standard bulbs up to 60W each; for the best visual result, we recommend filament LED bulbs at 2700K (4–6W) which recreate the warm amber glow typical of industrial style while keeping energy consumption low. The matt black thermolaqué finish is durable but not scratch-proof — avoid abrasive cleaners. At 75.5cm wide, this fixture needs adequate ceiling height and horizontal clearance; it is not suited to rooms under 2.4m. No dimming is built in — dimmability depends entirely on the bulb type and a compatible dimmer switch installed separately. Explore our full range in the pendant lights collection.
Above a dining table, allow at least 70–80cm between the bottom of the fixture and the table surface — at 120cm drop this works well in rooms with standard 2.5–2.7m ceilings. The 75.5cm spread makes it ideal for tables 80–100cm wide; for longer tables, consider grouping two pendants in a row. The symmetrical four-arm layout also suits kitchen islands and open-plan living areas where a bold focal point is needed. Common questions
Does this pendant need a qualified electrician to install?
+
Yes. This is a hardwired fixture with no plug — it connects directly to your ceiling wiring. We strongly recommend hiring a qualified electrician. The installation itself is straightforward (ceiling rose, live/neutral/earth), but it must comply with local wiring regulations.
Can I shorten the cable to fit a lower ceiling?
+
The cable is fixed at 120cm and is not designed to be shortened by the user — doing so would void any warranty and could be unsafe. If your ceiling is lower than 2.4m, we recommend choosing a flush or semi-flush pendant instead. An electrician can sometimes loop excess cable inside the ceiling rose, but this depends on your installation.
What bulbs work best with this pendant?
+
Any E27 bulb up to 60W per socket is compatible. For the industrial aesthetic, we recommend filament LED bulbs (4–6W, 2700K) — they produce a warm amber glow, are energy-efficient, and look great in open sockets. Avoid bulbs with large opaque shades as they can look out of proportion with the fixture's open design.
Is this pendant dimmable?
+
The fixture itself has no built-in dimmer. Dimmability depends on two things: using dimmable LED or halogen bulbs (check the bulb packaging), and having a compatible dimmer switch installed on the circuit. If both conditions are met, yes — it can be dimmed. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs will flicker or fail on a dimmer circuit.
How wide is the pendant — will it fit above my table?
+
The pendant spans 75.5cm at its widest point. As a rule of thumb, the fixture should be roughly 50–75% of the table width. It suits tables from 80cm to 120cm wide comfortably. For longer tables (140cm+), two pendants hung in a row typically give better coverage and a more balanced look.
