The Glasdom is a cordless rechargeable lamp — no socket, no cable trailing across the surface, no fixed position. Charge it via USB and place it wherever you want: a bedside table, a dining table centrepiece, a bathroom shelf, a garden table on a dry evening, or a bookshelf. The glass dome diffuses the LED light softly, creating a warm ambient glow rather than direct task lighting. The dimmer cycles through brightness levels with a single button press; the 30-minute sleep mode in warm white mode switches the lamp off automatically, useful for falling asleep without getting up. At 0.4W, it is extremely energy-efficient — at minimum brightness it can run for up to 300 hours on a single charge. The LED is integrated and fixed; it cannot be replaced, but is rated for a long lifespan. Does this lamp need to be plugged in to work?

No — the Glasdom is fully cordless. It charges via USB in approximately 4.5 hours and then runs on its internal battery. At full brightness it lasts up to 8 hours; at minimum brightness up to 300 hours. You only need a USB socket or power bank to recharge it.
How does the dimmer and sleep mode work?

A single button press cycles through brightness levels steplessly. In warm white mode, the 30-minute sleep timer activates automatically — the lamp dims gradually and switches off after 30 minutes, ideal for use as a bedside light when falling asleep.
Can I replace the LED when it burns out?

No — the LED is integrated and fixed. It cannot be replaced. Integrated LEDs typically last 25,000–50,000 hours, so under normal use this should not be a concern for many years.
Which colour should I choose?

Green (matcha) adds a botanical, earthy accent — works well with natural wood and linen tones. Brick Red (terracotta) brings warmth and pairs well with neutral or cream interiors.
