This is a hardwired pendant requiring a qualified electrician for installation. The 138cm cable can be shortened at the ceiling rose during installation but cannot be extended. The key feature of this pendant is the adjustable shade — it pivots manually after installation to direct light downward for task lighting or angled for ambient spread; this adjustment is done by hand and is not motorised. Note the 10W LED maximum — significantly lower than most E27 pendants; this fixture is designed specifically for LED bulbs and should not be used with incandescent or halogen bulbs, which generate too much heat. Use a compact E27 LED (8–10W, 2700–3000K) for the best balance of brightness and efficiency. The polished chrome finish reflects light and can show fingerprints — wipe with a soft dry cloth. The 10W limit reflects the fixture's thermal rating for LED use — do not use incandescent or halogen bulbs, which would exceed safe operating temperatures. A quality 8–10W E27 LED produces 800–1000 lumens — equivalent to a 60–75W incandescent — which is ample for most uses.
How does the adjustable shade work?
