This is a proper solid brass fitting — not plated, not lacquered over a base metal. The arm, shade, and wall plate are all brass, which means the weight and finish quality are immediately noticeable. The curved arm can be adjusted to direct the GU10 beam where you need it: up toward a ceiling, down toward a surface, or angled across a wall. The projection ranges from 20cm to 31cm depending on the arm position. The flared shade focuses the light and partially shields the bulb from direct view. Four finishes cover the main interior palettes: Antique Brass for a warm, aged look; Polished Brass for a high-shine traditional finish; Satin Brass for a softer contemporary version; Antique Silver for cooler, more industrial spaces. All are dimmable with a compatible GU10 dimmer switch and dimmable bulb. IP20 rated — dry indoor use only. Hardwired; professional installation required.

How far can the arm be adjusted?

The arm adjusts to give a projection of 20cm to 31cm from the wall, and can be angled to direct the GU10 beam upward, downward, or across the wall. The adjustment is manual — loosen the joint, reposition, and tighten. It is not a continuous swivel mechanism.
Is this spotlight dimmable?

Yes — but you need both a dimmable GU10 LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. Not all dimmers work with all GU10 LEDs. Check compatibility before purchasing your dimmer. The fitting itself is dimmer-ready.
Will the brass finish tarnish over time?

Polished Brass will develop a natural patina over time if left untreated — some customers prefer this. To maintain the shine, apply a brass polish occasionally. Antique Brass and Satin Brass have a pre-aged or brushed finish that is more stable and requires less maintenance. Antique Silver is similarly low-maintenance.
Does this need a qualified electrician to install?
